Hello! My name is Chris Brannon, I am the new athletic director at South Bay School. I have been coaching here at South Bay for 5 years. I have coached track, golf, girls basketball, and boys basketball. Overall I have been coaching for 10 years. I've also coached South Fork High JV Softball, Freshwater Boys basketball, and Coastal Grove boy’s basketball. My wife, Christina, and I have been together since Jr High and have 3 children. Ryan, currently a sophomore at EHS; Ileah-Rose, a 7th grader here at South Bay; and Steven, currently a Panda but future Shark! I played most sports as a kid; football, basketball, baseball, softball (slow pitch and fast pitch), boxing and a touch of golf. Basketball was always my favorite. I played every day that I could with friends and my brother.

A few unapparent things about me are:

  • I was in Limited Edition at EHS all 4 years of high school.

  • I am an avid Magic the Gathering player and still play in tournaments when I have the time.

  • I collect comic books and action figures and have quite the collection going.

I am very excited about the crew of people working alongside me here at South Bay and look forward to many years of growth in our sports program and educational system. South Bay is the best school I have been around for quite a while and I look forward to keeping that outlook flourishing in the years to come.
