Vision services are provided through a contract with Vision Service Plan (VSP). VSP does not issue ID cards, so you simply provide your social security number to your provider and they will look up your plan benefits in the VSP system. Each plan has different limits for exams, lenses and frames, so be sure to know your plan before your appointment.
