Hello 8th Grade Families!

There has been so much going on during this school year, it has been a challenge to keep up with the continual Covid-19 guidance.  Before making a decision on graduation I wanted to get as close as possible to ensure we could do as much as possible!  Here is where we stand with graduation, while ensuring we are following the guidance from public health.

Graduation Information

When: Wed. June 16th at 6pm

Where: South Bay- up on the soccer/football field.  This will be an outside event so please make sure your students (and you) choose appropriate footwear for the grass.

Who:  Following CDPH guidance we are able to offer four (4) seats for the graduation to each graduate’s family.   All attendees will need to pre-register in order to attend, will need to sit in household groups, and meet our daily Qualtrics screening guidance.  (the same guidelines that students follow for daily attendance on campus).  There will be social distancing enforced and masks must be worn.

What: Please think about which four guests will be in attendance for your student’s graduation.  Unfortunately, we can’t make exceptions to this rule so two family households will need to share the 4 spots connected to their graduate. A Google form will be sent in the evening on 5/19 asking for registration to the event.  Seating will be assigned based upon the return of the registration.  While not everyone can sit in the front we are working on creating photo pods for taking photos closer to the stage.

I hope that this initial bit of graduation information will help you in your planning.  Please be on the lookout on 5/19 for the graduation registration.  Thank you for all your patience this year!
