During the week of September 21-28, teachers will be meeting with parents via Zoom to discuss their hopes, concerns, and feelings about a variety of topics for the purpose of providing the best possible educational experience to their students. If they haven't already, teachers will be sending out a form requesting parents to sign up for a day and time. Please complete the form to assist us with our planning.
We are providing the questions ahead of time so parents can be prepared going into the interview. Here are the ten questions you will be asked:
What are some strengths of your child or things that they are passionate about?
Tell me a little bit about what has and hasn’t worked for your child during distance learning.
At the end of the school year, what do you hope your child says about his/her experience in school this year?
What might be some concerns/fears that you have regarding your child?
What does a day look like for your child in this distance learning environment?
How and when would you like me to be in touch with you this year? What might be some things you’ll hope I communicate with you?
What communication improvements could we make?
Since we had to shelter-in-place last spring, are there any concerns that you have regarding your child? Have there been any changes that you would like to share with me?
What supports do your child or family need as distance learning continues?
What might be something I missed, but you want me to know about your child?
We look forward to meeting with you soon! Thank you for being an important part of the Pine Hill/South Bay community!
